To My Dear Cousin Ashley,
I remember you so fondly as a beautiful little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl, full of spice and vinegar from day one. Your wit and vibrant spirit made you so fun to be around. We had countless adventures running around the neighborhood getting into all kinds of trouble we shouldn't have been and shared endless amounts of laughter.
As we grew older, our lives took separate directions, and we lost touch in our adult years. Despite the distance, I always loved you from afar and wished nothing but the best for you and your boys.
I'm grateful for the few last visits we had when you were in the hospital last fall. Those moments were precious, and having one more Poole Christmas Eve with you and Jayce this past Christmas was a blessing. It was heartwarming to see that, no matter how much time had passed and how much we had both changed, you were still the same old Ashley. Sassy as ever, incredibly funny, and always loving your family deeply.
I will cherish those last visits until we meet again. Ashley, I hope you finally have the peace and calmness in your soul that you couldn't find here in the physical world. All the cousins will miss you dearly. You'll always be one of the OG Horses Ass'! Love you!
