Obituary of Harold Jones

Harold Jones, of Granton, passed away at Jessica’s House, Exeter, on Sept. 13, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.

Predeceased by his wife Sharon Jones (2024), married for 54 years.

Father of David Jones (Ariane) and their children Rylan and Maryn, and John Jones.

Harold will also be remembered by siblings and their spouses: Gladys, Kay (predeceased), Jim (predeceased), and his wife Janice, Loyd, and his wife Diane, Larry, and Judy (predeceased), and her husband Bob.

The children from the above list will also remember: Pat, Jeff, Ken, Michelle, Michael, Jim, Mark, and Bill.

Lastly, there are a large number of extended family, friends, and neighbours who supported Harold.

Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St Marys Memorial Hospital and Jessica’s House - Harold went in peace because of their care.

Cremation has taken place.

A visitation will take place at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, St. Marys, on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 from 1 - 3 pm. 

Memorial donations may be made to Jessica’s House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
