Lois and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Chris and family on the loss of Bill. For 15 years we have lived next door to the Tipping family. We had many great driveway chats with Bill. Whenever we arrived home there was a good chance that we would be greeted by Bill who would be out front on his porch enjoying the nicer weather. His greetings were never just “How are you?” but inevitably Bill would always say “Welcome home, neighbor”. A nicer man I do not think we have ever met. He will be missed.

Chris and family, I was sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I was very fortunate to have many early morning chats with Bill as our snow plow routes usually met at our Township’s shared Townline. His stories quite often ended with us chuckling. No matter how blustery the day was he said it would be a better day tomorrow! Bill was not only a top notch grader/ snow plow operator but a kind, caring and gentle man. I think of Bill often. My condolences to the entire Tipping family.

Chris, you are certainly in my prayers and thoughts. Bill will certainly be missed. I have been reading the tributes on facebook and they are almost too many to read in one sitting.. Bill was a great friend to many people. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and a willing hand to help in anyway he could. Gord and I certainly enjoyed all the visits over the years. I have also seen some of the comments that you have made on facebook and it shows that you are looking at thing is a positive way. Good for you to be doing so.
