With a heavy heart I would like to.send my sincere condolences to Josh , Joey and the rest of the Degroot family also to anyone who had the privilege of having this women in your life . Joan was a young at heart lady that put everyone in front of herself . She was the one that you could count on for anything and let me tell you if she couldn't do it she would sure try. Although her health wasn't the greatest she felt she was still young and able to face anything that came her way . even trying to lift things that was twice her weight ! She would move mountains if she could .Joan's phone was never off and her door was never shut if you needed her she was always there she was everybody's Mom if you needed to be straightened out she would let you know . I could go on for days on how I felt about Joan but there isn't enough words in the dictionary to explain .

Always so happy to see and hear from family! She always would walk us right out to our vehicles still waving as we drove away! She was the rock of the family for sure and she did countless thoughtful and kind things for us all throughout the years!!! Beautiful write up from my loving brothers and Christmas was always magical she always made it so special, fully decorated!! I always remember I would brush her hair in my younger years! She always enjoyed that as we would watch loving movies! Forever my mama cherished and will be missed greatly
