My heartfelt sympathy is extended to you George and to your family. Marlene always was a complete pleasure to have a chin wag with. She was so proud of her family and her days at M&M…..agreeing with the comment of “ it was hard to know who was actually running it”. You knew where you stood with her and the World sure could use more honest people like her. May she rest in eternal peace.

George and Family....
What a pleasure and treat to have known "Miss Marlene". I always enjoyed meeting her and having a chat with her. Her whit, smart remarks and interest in what was going on in the family or around town made for a good conversation. I also remember the times she worked with my mother at the arena canteen, many a good laugh and stories were had. May you find peace and comfort in the memories you have as a family, for that was so special to her. Thinking of you and my you find strength to face the times ahead....

Our family was so blessed to have Marlene as an employee at the M&M. She took on so many responsibilities for Joan and Dick, especially as their health was declining. At times It was hard to tell who was really running things. George also helped mom and dad out in many ways. Thank you George for being a friend.
To all the Hayes family, we are sorry for your loss and we will always remember Marlene…
