Obituary of Wayne Johnson Ridgway

The world could benefit from more men like Wayne. He was soft-spoken, gentle, kind, and respectful. Wayne was a superb gentleman; astute businessman and he excelled at everything from golfing to skiing to bridge to ballroom dancing. He was accomplished at playing the piano, singing and in retirement took up gardening to create a charming garden the envy of his neighbours – and his daughter.

But his peak performance was Veronica’s adoring and loving husband.

Wayne cherished his wife Veronica, and they delighted in one another and in taking cruises and travelling the world together exploring Japan, Australia, Africa, South America, and Europe

Prior to his retirement he was the City Treasurer for Kamloops B.C., other positions included work for Manitoba Hydro and a variety of national banks.

Wayne celebrating having lived an exceptional, eventful and fulfilling life~

He will be sincerely missed.
