Obituary of Jane Newman

Deborah “Jane” Newman passed away at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on July 6, 2026 at the age of 70.

Daughter of the late Clayt and Grace Merner and also predeceased by her husband Don (2024). Sister of Alan Merner (Leanna), and Chris Merner. Also remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Jane, with her husband Don, was an avid lover of music, enjoyed the St. Marys Community and would never pass up attending an auction sale and yard sale.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys, on Monday, July 13, 2026  from 4 – 7 pm. Private family interment in St. Marys Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
