Obituary of Al Kew

Al Kew passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 62, after a short battle with cancer, at University Hospital in London, with his family by his side.  

Father of Jennifer Pfeifer (Sami), Jamie Kew (Ryan), and Justine Seliske (Patrick). Grandfather of Christian (Kaitlyn), Freedom, Paige, Taylor, Madilyn, Larissa, Nolan and Blaine. Predeceased by his parents Heber Kew and Elfriede (Weser). Al worked 45 years at Maple Leaf Foods and was a long-time and passionate volunteer with Habitat For Humanity. Special thanks to Matt George for his support and help during this time and many thanks to Dr. Jordan Berry and the staff at University Hospital.

Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys, on Sunday, March 9th from 2 – 4 p. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, March 10^th at 11 am. Burial in St. Marys Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of London-Middlesex or Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario.
