Dear Angela and Family
You may not remember me but I am Jerry's first cousin. Edith Forth and my mother Dorothy Pickard were sisters. I'm sorry that I am unable to attend Jerry's Celebration of Life. His kindness and sense of humour will be missed. Please accept our condolences.

Gerry's brother Doug and I grew up as kids in Waterdown playing baseball and hockey and getting into very minor mischief, and big brother Gerry was always around. As a bank manager Gerry lent me and all our friends money to buy cars. We were not the most financially savvy people in our early 20s and I am sure Gerry maybe pulled some strings to get us the loans, but we all had jobs and paid back the money. Later in life I joined Gerry as a rookie in financial services in London and went on the open my own investment firm years later. Gerry and I continued to be in touch with some Facebook messages every 6 months or so. And of course there was the odd beer over the years. Gerry never called it as he saw it, he called it as it was. So sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. He took on the daunting task of coaching our ladies Slo pitch team in the 80’s. He was always a gentleman and had a great sense of humour.

My sincere condolences on the death of Gerry(“Zeke”).I had such a wonderful time with Gerry watching his grandson Mike and my son Sean play for the London North teams in baseball during the late 90’s and 2000’s.
He had a great knowledge of the game and was very respectful in all matters relating to close and not so close calls..
I am sure he will be missed
With kind wishes
