Obituary of Gary Wayne Moore

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Moore a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He had battled Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy (PSP ) for many years.

Gary leaves behind his caring and devoted wife Marilyn ( Roth ) and his cherished son Jason (Michelle). Proud grandpa to Adriana, Brayden and Jasper. He will be missed by his brother Ron ( Raymonde ) and his sister Joan Fitzgeorge ( Paul ) , sisters-in-law Doris Sherwood (Dave deceased ) and Lorraine Skowby ( Al ) along with his nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Mildred ( Feltz ).

With all the challenges that Gary faced he always stayed positive and rarely complained. His favourite motto was : Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain.

Our family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff at Strathmere Lodge ( Strathroy ) for their unwavering support and kindness during the last two plus years he lived there .

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The PSP Society of Canada, Canadian Wildlife Federation or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of Gary's life will be announced at a later date.
