Obituary of Glen Charles Clark

Glen Charles Clark, born August 30, 1925. Glen passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on May 13, 2017 at the age of 91.Loving husband of the late Wilma Margaret Wakem (2013). They were married 68 years and together raised their family in West Nissouri Township. Beloved father of Ruth Bradley (Howard), Carl Clark, Linda Galloway (Bob), Gary Clark, Glenna Hollyman (Max), Stan Clark (Darlene), Rhonda Cousins (Dan), Mark Clark (Nancy). Loving grandfather of Sherry, Geoff, Steve, Kathy, Dan, Jason, Angie, Jenny, Scott, Lori, Eleanor, Glen, Michelle, Joe, Jeanine, Justin, Melinda, Rachel, Kelly, Carl, Courtney, Adam, Kayla, Caitlin, Travis, Jessica, Emily, Jacob, Tyler and April. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and a whole new generation of great-grandchildren. Glen was born to the late Stanley and Jennie Louise Clark (Sitter). Dear brother of the late Ralph Clark (Dorothy), and the late Doris (Bruce Patterson).The greatest gift we ever received came from God and we called him dad.Thank you to Dr Jon Schiedel and the staffs at St Marys Memorial Hospital, Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys Friendship Centre and the St. Marys Mobility Bus.Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Reception following the service in the Community Hall at the St. Marys Pyramid Recreation Centre, 317 James St. South, St. Marys.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
