Obituary of David Lee Van Arkel

David Lee Van Arkel, of Stratford, formerly of St. Marys, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2024, at the age of 54. Predeceased by his parents Linda and Evert, and brother Peter Van Arkel. David was the proud father of daughter Madison Van Arkel.

He is survived by his uncle Reine (Joyce), niece Chloe Van Arkel and nephew Daniel Van Arkel. 

 Also survived by long time friend StarrAnne Loney, step-son Koal Fleming  and step-daughter Willow Fleming.         

David will be sadly missed by his closest friend and ‘brother’ Jamie Ransley.        

David was a free spirit who will be remembered by friends and family for his deep love of music, his ability to connect with animals and his passion for family. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the St.Marys Cemetery, 150 Cain St. St. Marys, on Friday June 28th, 2024 at 1PM
