The Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home is a Class 1 funeral home
License by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario
License # 411

As of July 1, 2021, it is mandatory for all funeral providers to publish their price list online, as per The Province of Ontario.  The Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home has had our complete funeral home price list viewable on the funeral home website since 2006.

Guide to Death Care in Ontario is a free guide provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario that helps consumers know their rights and responsibilities before entering into contracts with organizations that are licensed under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002. How to figure out the cost of a funeral:

Here is how the cost of the funeral is calculated:

Funeral Home service fee & funeral supplies (i.e. casket, casket vault, urn)
+ HST (13%) on funeral home fee & supplies
+ Total of outside costs
= Quote for the total cost of a funeral

Funeral Home Service Options:
Please note: for any ceremony option, the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home can video record the service to either stream live via our Facebook page or posted as a private YouTube video that family will receive a link to share as desired. We do this FREE of charge.

Funeral:
Visitation and/or ceremony with body present

Visitation and/or ceremony following cremation or burial

Memorial Open House:
Visitation at the funeral home or other location for a three-hour period (e.g. 6 – 9 p.m.) designed as an informal gathering for family and friends

Ceremony with body or cremated remains conducted at the cemetery

Repatriation:
Returning of remains to home town or native country

Payment by cheque, debit or e-transfer (andrew@hodgesfuneralhome.ca) preferred.
Credit cards accepted but a 2% processing fee will be added to transactions over $2,500.
