Obituary of Robert Corbett

Robert “Bob” Corbett passed away at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys on October 22, 2017 at the age of 79.Predeceased by his wife Frances (2007). Beloved father of Rob Jr. (Rose), Deb (Ross), Peggy (Mike), Ada (Doug), and Joanne (Jay). Proud grandfather of Damion, David, Suzanne (Mike), Michelle (Dustin), Megan, Matthew, Devon, Reese, Travis and Tristan. Great Grand Children: Lukas, Aidan, Emma, Mason, James. Brother of Helen, Gerty (Dave), Kenny (Gloria), Verna (Bill) and predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Mabel and brothers Victor and Jimmy.Special interests include collecting coins, watching western movies and breaking out of the nursing home.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday, Oct. 27, from 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery. The cremated remains of his wife Frances Corbett will also be buried. All those wishing to pay their last respects to Frances can do so at the graveside where her ashes will be joined within Robert’s urn.Memorial Donations may be made to Covenant House, Kingsway Lodge “Kingsway Life Care” or St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation.
