Obituary of Jack Youngson

Peacefully surrounded by his family, John “Jack” Youngson passed away on February 21, 2019.He is survived by his children; Beverley Haynes (Bill), Leslie (Bev), Marianne Kennedy (Marvin), Doris Youngson-Bailey (Bruce Ross), Jim (Tanja), and Sara Youngson-Wood (Mike Franken). Loving Grandfather to thirty-one grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Conley and Leone Holst. Lovingly remembered by Edith (Mills) Kestle.Predeceased by his parents David Youngson and Annie (Whalen) Youngson, two brothers Gerald and William; two brothers-in-law Robert Conley and William Van der Holst, and one sister-in-law Dorothy Youngson.Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Sunday, March 3, 2019, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Exeter Lodge #67, will conduct a Lodge Service at 1:30, followed by visitation from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A private family interment will be held in St. Marys Cemetery at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
