Obituary of Allin Mitchell

George Allin Mitchell peacefully passed away on December 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Allin was born June 7, 1958 and was a proud resident of St. Marys his entire life. Allin was soul mate and amazing husband to Donna (Hounsell), doting father to Emma (Matthew) Hawley, Joshua Mitchell and Jaron Camp, loving son of Murray and the late Grace (Dunseith) Mitchell and older brother of Kevin (Kendra) and Darrin (Shelley) Mitchell. Allin will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Brendan, Melanie, Cassidy, Regan and Sullivan Mitchell.Allin was a skilled carpenter that leaves a legacy of his work in the community. He was proud of his work, home, gardens and outreach through the St. Marys Presbyterian Church. He was a loyal friend to his neighbours, fishing buddies and members of the curling club.Family and Friends are invited to join us in celebrating the life of Allin at the St. Marys Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held Friday December 29, 2017 from 6pm-9pm at the ST. MARYS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 147, Widder St. E., St. Marys. Funeral will be held December 30, 2017 at 10:30am. Private family interment in St. Marys Cemetery, followed by a reception in the church basement.Donations can be made in his memory to Hope 4 Haiti, Presbyterian Church Memorial Trust, Change Her World and the Cancer Society.
