Obituary of Gerald Paul

Peacefully, after a life well lived David Gerald “Duck” Paul passed away at Kingsway Lodge, St Marys on January 12, 2017 in his 99th year.Beloved husband of Norma Jean Paul (Urquhart) and much loved and admired father of Terri Louise Paul and her husband Stephen Sims. Adored Grandpa of Sydney, Alastair and Drew Sims. He was pre deceased by his father Charles (1977) and mother Nellie (1995) Paul and by his brothers Reginald (1992) and Leon (2012). Survived by sisters-in-law Ethel Urquhart (Jack) and Marion Urquhart (Roger) and Shirley Paul (Leon). Much loved and sadly missed by many Paul, Urquhart, Blackler and Yule nieces and nephews.As one of the musical comedy act The Paul Brothers and Shirley, Gerald shared his love of music and laughter across South Western Ontario and Canada.Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held at a later date.Donations to the Huntington’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
