Obituary of Violet Corbett

Violet Corbett passed away surrounded by family at Wildwood Care Centre on November 15, 2020 at the age of 96.Beloved wife of the late Stanley Corbett (1997). Loving mother of Sandra (Ron) Williams, Barb Hunter, and Violet (Jack) Dill. Proud grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of nine. Predeceased by parents William and Jessie James, Brother Bill James, sister-in-law Joan James and grandson Stanley Hunter.She enjoyed 40 years of service with the VON as a volunteer, member of the St. Marys Legion Br. 236 for 63 years. She loved her scratch tickets, she was also a member of the Senior Choir at the St. Marys Friendship Centre.A private funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The Interment service at the St. Marys Cemetery will be open to the public at 11 a.m. An Open House Celebration of Life will take place that afternoon at the St. Marys Legion Br. 236.
