Beste familie, Gecondoleerd met het verlies van je moeder. Volgens mij is zij de op één na laatste van de familie Westelaken. Hier in Nederland leeft niemand meer van onze ooms en tantes. Ook wij hebben hele mooie herinneringen aan jullie moeder. Altijd wanneer ze naar Nederland kwamen dan logeerden ze bij mijn ouders waar wij dan vele gesprekken met ze hebben gevoerd. Het was altijd gezellig en tante Rina was een speciale tante, ze gedroeg zich net als ons, jong en levenslustig met altijd die lach op haar gezicht en huppelend naast ons als we ergens heen gingen. Het was altijd een feest om ze weer in Nederland te hebben. Ook aan ons bezoek naar Canada in 2004 hebben we hele mooie herinneringen. We zijn een week bij Rose-Ann geweest en een week bij Tante Rina en Oom Chris. We zullen nooit de avond vergeten toen alle de elektriciteit uit viel, er nergens nog een lichtje brandde en wij nog naar het strand gingen om te picknicken en de hond ook zijn maaltje genomen had. Onvergetelijke herinneringen hebben we aan haar over de korte tijd dat wij haar steeds kenden. Wat een gemis moet het voor jullie zijn, jullie die deze positieve moeder en oma altijd om jullie heen hadden en nu moeten missen. Wij willen jullie veel sterkte wensen met het verwerken van dit verlies in deze toch al moeilijke omstandigheden die deze wereld op dit moment in de greep houd. So sorry to hear this news. She was a shining light for many at the nursing home. I loved spending time with her during my visits with my mom. I will always remember her kindness and warmth. Most of all, you’d be hard pressed to find someone more proud of her large family. May she rest easy now.
