Obituary of Bernice Annie Jones

Bernice Annie Jones (Irwin), life-long resident of Thorndale, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Feb. 5, 2018 in her 86th year.Wife of the late Mervin (1998). Mother of Ronald (Shelley), Murray (Bonnie), Ruth Harlton, Bruce (Maxine), Linda Gregory (John), and Janet Thomson (Cecil). Grandmother of Pamela Elliott (Robert Levy), Sherry Elliott (Mike Illman), Shannon Buuck (Norman), Rebecca Hillier (Blair), Scott Harlton, Joanne Angus (Brandon), Beth Zurbrigg (William), Lee Thomson and Great-grandmother of 14. Sister of Laura Henshaw and Douglas Irwin, both of London. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by son-in-law Murray Harlton, daughter-in-law Anna Jones, her parents Charles Irwin and Viola (nee Richards) and siblings Norman Irwin, Violet Irwin, Marjorie Jones, Lorne Irwin, Joan Teeple and in-laws Mabel Waterer, Irene Tipping, Violet Jones and Wes Jones.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 9, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Robins Hill Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation, South Nissouri Presbyterian Church or charity of choice.
