Obituary of Bill Crawford

Bill Crawford passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on March 1, 2019 at the age of 65.Long-time farmer on the same property for his entire life in the Avonbank Community. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, farming and his animals. Beloved husband of Pauline (DeWetering) whom he married Sept. 17, 1977. Father of Jason (Tanya), Derik (Nicole), Jennifer (Stephen), Danielle (Brad), Brianne (Dan). Dearest Papa of Alise, Aiden, Brycen, Abigail, Nicholas, Eric, Isabelle, Alex, Brooke, Dylan, Blake, Benjamin, Hailey, Lucas. Brother of Louise (Murray), David, Ron, Joan and brother-in-law of Jane and Judy, Liz (Tom), Frank (Karen), Tony (Grace), Ed (Julie), Kathy (Joe), Joanne (Terry), Paul (Tami), Mike (Cynthia), Jackie (Don), Richard (Terry Ann). Survived by many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his brother Gordon, brother-in-law Asraf, his parents John and Violet, brother-in-law Ben and parents-in-law Harry and Christina DeWetering.Faithful member of Holy Name of Mary church choir for 26 years.Visitation in the Parish Hall at HOLY NAME OF MARY PARISH, Northeast Widder St. E. and Peel St. N. St. Marys on Monday, March 4, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Parish, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Philip Joseph officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment in Avonbank Cemetery at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to the Avonbank Church, Avonbank Cemetery or the Holy Name of Mary Building Fund.
