Obituary of Myrna Nancy Swan

Myrna Nancy Swan (nee Lancaster) passed away peacefully at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys, on June 9, 2020 at the age of 79.She was born on March 7, 1941 in St. Marys. Predeceased by husbands Tom Marriott (1995) and Don Swan (2004). Myrna is survived by her sister Marilyn Lancaster (Dave) of London, sister in-law Sharon Marriott, and predeceased by sister-in-law Diane Marriott. Loving Mother of Doug Marriott (Sue) of Wingham, Tony Marriott of St. Marys, and Tina Bickell (Wade) of St. Marys. Loving Grandmother to Kailee Marriott predeceased (1994), Melanie Bourne (Tyler), Rob Marriott (Nicole), Justin Marriott (Megan), Nicole Marriott, Ryan Bickell, and Cassie Bickell. She will also be deeply missed by her 13 grandchildren, 22 great - grandchildren, 6 great- great grandchildren.Also a loving mother to Doug Swan (Joan) of St. Marys, Richard Swan of Kitchener, Janice Dilks (Steve) of Mississauga, Jeff Swan (Julie) of St. Marys. Myrna is predeceased by her parents Jack and Hazel Lancaster, mother-in-law and father-in-law Phyllis Marriott and Robert Marriott. Her brother and sisters-in-law Bruce Swan, Jim Swan, George Corrie, Betty North, Dorothy Bailey, Leona Doupe, Rita Corrie. Survived by brothers-in-law Roy Swan (Maureen), and Junior Doupe.Myrna was a very active member in many clubs: McConnell Club, Daughters of The Nile, The Royal Canadian Legion St. Marys Branch, and The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs. She enjoyed shopping, going to the casino, camping at the trailer, as well as knitting, lawn bowling, and dancing.Cremation to take place with a private family inurnment at the St. Marys Cemetery, which will be streamed on Andrew L.
