My privilege knowing Don was through the Rotary Club of St. Marys. Don was a great club member whether selling draw tickets, pouring refreshments, passing the plate, highway litter picking, chair & table moving, after event cleaning. Don was always there. But my interaction did not start with a service club but with Don working sales help in need, a salesman indeed for Ray Bennett. I was some what intimidated by this so dapper gentleman. Not for long as Don has the warmest welcome. Our condolences to Carol and family. Lorne and Nancy

Carol, Jenny and family so sorry to hear of your husband , father, grandpa’s passing. Don was always kind and friendly when we both worked downtown, at church and always stop and chat. I had the opportunity to chat quite a bit in recent months as he was in hospital for awhile with my mother in law , he always to took time and stopped to chat. A while later he went out to Hillside nursing home where my in laws also were placed. Don ended up being my father-in-laws roommate and so he always would chat and knew Mark by name. He will be missed. Hugs to all
