Obituary of Richard Joseph Seymour

It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Richard Joseph Seymour of London Ontario Thursday June 20th 2019 in his 34th year.Richard was a generous, kind and caring son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend. Friends and family will remember he was passionate about sports and was a life-long Miami Dolphins’ fan. One of the highlights of the past year was attending his first football game opener in Florida. Friends will recall his ongoing sports commentary as seasons of football and basketball played out. Richard knew his sports.He leaves behind his mother Anna Ciesielski of Exeter Ontario, his father, Tracey Seymour of St. Marys Ontario, brothers Luke and Philip and sister Kirsten of London, Ontario. Also survived by his paternal grandmother Norma Seymour of St. Marys.He will be missed by an extended family, the Timmermans of St. Marys including his stepbrothers Andrew Timmermans of Sarnia Ontario and Brandon Bourdeau of New Zealand. Richard was loved and will be sadly missed by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and dear friends here and around the world. He will also be greatly missed by his devoted dog Arnie.Family and friends are invited to the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church Street South, on Thursday, July 4, 2019 for visitation from 1:30 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30 and reception with light lunch to follow in the church hall. Private interment in Innerkip cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
