Sending my sincerest sympathy to Bill’s boys and their partners and children. I shared many a chat with Bill when we used to ship rabbits. He always had lots of advice and loved to see our little ones and show them his assorted chickens and rabbits. He enjoyed life and needed little to do it. Many should learn from this. He was proud of his roots and his family. Hold of your silly stories and memories close as you face the challenging days ahead. In time those memories will be shared with many a laugh. I know it's been a while since we've all been together, but looking back at those pictures sure brings back lots of great memories out at the farm and at Grandma and Grandpa's in Propect Hill. I remember my first Royal Winter Fair - I showed up with my Highland cow/calf pair that had never been off the farm much less ever been in a wash bay ! Bill jumped right in giving me his own rain gear to wear and showed me how to wash my animals getting completely soaked himself ! It was the first of many memorable moments that we shared - some happy , some sad, some serious - but he always had a great sense of humour that overcame everything. Bill will be greatly missed . Dave and I send our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Bill. He was a true friend who always made time for others. During my apprenticeship, Bill spent many hours mentoring and supporting me. Next, he provided valuable advice when our 4H group began showing our llamas at the Royal. Many meals were shared around the kitchen table and many treasured memories remain. Bill will be remembered with great fondness and appreciation. Our love and prayers are with you all.
