Obituary of Ralph Gordon Baker

Ralph Gordon Baker passed away, with his family by his side, at Stratford General Hospital on February 17, 2021 at the age of 72.Husband of Marjorie (Currah), married 50 years. Father of Judy Matthews (Ken), Sandra Baker (Jurgen Wubs), Wendy Evans (Mike) and Debra Baker (Jacque Prudhomme). Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Marlene Nixon, and George Baker (deceased). Ralph will also be remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his parents Alfred, Margaret and step-father Leonard Thacker and mother-in-law Reta Currah. Ralph was a dedicated employee at the St. Marys Cement Plant for over 40 years.Ralph’s family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the Stratford General Hospital for their wonderful care.Cremation to take place. A private family burial to take place at a later date.Memorial donations to Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
