Lauren Francis posted a condolence
When my brothers and I were young, we lived right next door to Ray and Jo Bennett who were very close friends with John and Barb. We thought that when we grew up, we wanted to be just like Ray and Jo, John and Barb. How cool must life be to be like those four! We're blessed to have remained long-time friends with Ray and Jo, but when I saw John's obituary in this website, I had such great flashback memories to those days back in the late fifties and early sixties when we idolized John and Barb. He was so kind and respectful to my brothers, John, Rick and me, and always so much fun. I have lovely memories of him, and I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a good man.

Dear Dana and the entire family, I first met Dana at camp, then luckily we ended up at the same high school together. During those formative years, I got to know the Lind family very well, with many trips to St Mary's and the cottage too. Mr Lind was always considered to be a 'cool Dad' amongst Dana's friends and we all loved him dearly. I will personally will remember his impish grin, zest for life and his heartfelt hugs. I know you will 'circle the wagons' to support each other and will take the time to celebrate the life of this remarkable man. Love Tannis (Topping) McDonald

Linda Harris posted a condolence
To the family and friends of John Lind: My condolences to you all. John was an integral part of the St. Marys community throughout his life. He was an able administrator of the St. Marys Cement Company, taking over for his grandfather and father, but he also excelled on the St. Marys Hospital Board of Directors and was involved in many community projects that touched so many lives in St. Marys. He shared his joy of life with everyone. May the memories of your good times shared with John bring you peace and consolation during this difficult time! My thoughts and prayers go out to you today.
