Rose Near passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on June 8, 2018 in her 76th year.Wife of the late Gary Near (2003). Mother of Gary (Ainslie), Dennis (Barb), Sandra (Jamie), David (Susan). Grandmother of Tyler, Lindsay (Hugo), Brendan (Kaitlynn), Dawson, and Brett. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Beatrice Neil. Sister of Gwen (Erinie, both deceased), Barb (Jim, deceased), Gord (Marjorie), Bruce (Lorraine), Isabell (deceased, Ron), Merv (deceased, Shirley), Bonnie (Alfonse) and sister-in-law of Harry (Joan), Joyce, John, Jean, Doug, Clayson (Diane, Ted (Heather), Randy (Wendy), and Lynn (Ken).Family and friends are invited to the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S. St. Marys, on Monday, June 11, 2018 for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
