Obituary of Wayne William Lessard

Wayne William Lessard passed away peacefully in Mississauga with his family by his side on August 29, 2017.Born on May 16, 1941, he was the son of Greta (Casselman) and George Lessard of St. Catharines.Wayne is survived by his loving companion, Barbara Vivian of Mississauga . He is also survived by four amazing children: Yvonne (Danny Clifford), Charlotte Riordan (Rod) both of St. Marys, Jeffrey of Lambeth and Owen (Laura) of Grand Bend as well as two step-sons, Dale King and Terry Vivian. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Scott, Mary Lou, Robert, Isaac, Tanner, Calder & Jake.Wayne is survived by his sister Shirley (Lou) Currah of Annan, brothers Don & Doug Lessard of St. Catharines. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Lou (Cookson) of St. Marys in 1992. And by brothers Gord of St. Catharines and Dennis of Kingston.Cremation has taken place. There is no visitation as the family will be holding a private dedication ceremony at a later date.In lieu of flowers, Wayne’s family would greatly appreciate donations to the North Perth Community Hospice/Perth Huron Hospice, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre or the charity of your choice.
