Dear Beth and Family Joan and I are deeply saddened to hear of Murray’s passing. We have many fond memories of our childhood growing up together. Our farm was across the road from Pearson’s and our families were very close. Murray never complained about being the ‘token male’ among all the girls.....he was always looking out for us!!! Our familiar shared cottages together, a motor trip to Detroit, day trips, family ball games behind our drive shed and our Moms were best friends! Murray was like a brother and yes a gentle soul ! My heart goes out to you Beth , Kristi and Mark and your families, and to Penny, Jane, Ruth and Leah. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Alex Tait posted a condolence
My sincerest condolences to family and friends. I have very fond memories of Murray from the summer of 1986 (or so), when he employed me as a farm hand for six weeks. I was just a young New Jersey high school kid from the suburbs of New York city and he graciously took me on, with no experience, and showed me how to operate the farm. He even trusted me to drive the tractor, which I loved. I've been forever grateful for that experience and for Murray's kindness and care throughout my time on the farm. It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It was just a month ago, 30+ years after that summer, that I tried desperately to locate the farm on Google maps so I could step back to a good time in my life for a brief moment. For Murray, a life well lived is a life to celebrate and I suspect Murray is deserving of a grand celebration.
