Dear Kathy, Emily and Luke, Jason and I were so very sad to hear that Dan had passed!! I had such a beautiful visit with Dan at the grocery store this summer and he was, as ever, so happy and spoke with pride and love as he updated me on each of you! None of us know what tomorrow holds and my regret is that we didn't talk longer and make a plan to get together!! I see my last encounter with Dan as a gift as no one ever left Dan without feeling more valued and affirmed. He was a really great man who will be missed by many. Kathy and family, we offer our deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your family. Dan was a true friend whose time I shared with was fun and worthwhile. We always had a great laugh and our get togethers no matter how far apart they were was always a time of joy, good bacon and eggs, and reminiscing about the old days and looking forward to the future. I will miss him but will always cherish our time together as friends. See you later Pa! from the good looking one!

Dan has made such an impact on our lives, and I am so privlaged to say that we have been blessed to have made some pretty hilarious, fun, and meaningful memories with Dan that will last forever.
