Obituary of Ruth Heron

Ruth Heron (McPherson), peacefully at Kingsway Lodge on Saturday, May 6, 2017, with her family by her side, Ruth passed away in her 100th year.Beloved wife of the late George Heron (2011). Loving mother of Shirley White and Bill of Ingersoll, Linda McEwan and Terry of St. Marys, Nancy Hutton and John of Zorra Twp. Proud grandmother of Andrew and Karen, Jodi, Tony and Lisa, Mark and Candy, Jeff and Cathy, Jaclyn and Scott; great grandchildren Cameron, Nathan, Danielle, Brett, Travis, Carly, Rourke, Jenna, Jacob, Declan and Alex; great great grandson Orrin. Survived by sisters Betty Barney, Doris Craig and Joan Farnham and a brother Bob McPherson. Predeceased by son-in-law Tom Monteith, sister Jean McCorquodale and brother Russ McPherson.The family would like to thank the staff at Kingsway Lodge. Mom was given exceptional care during her seven years as a resident. Cremation has taken place.Family and friends are invited to the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. South, St. Marys, on Saturday, May 13, 2017 for visiting from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Katie Nightingale-Taylor and Rev.
