Obituary of James Wesley Jones

James “Jim” Wesley Jones, of Thorndale, passed away suddenly with his family by his side in his 72nd year on Tuesday June 5, 2018.Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Janice and their sons Jim (Karen), Mark, and Bill (Sarah). He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kendra, Kayleigh, and Reece. Brother of Gladys (Bill), Kay, Harold (Sharon), Loyd (Diane), Larry and Judy (Robert). Son of the late Wesley (2004) and Margaret (2013). Jim will be sadly missed by Ron Miller (Mel) who was like another son to him. Jim will be fondly remembered and missed by his large circle of extended family members Julie, Mary, Jack, Bobby, Stacy, Chris (Emily), Jon (Emily), Elora.Special thanks to the Thorndale Volunteer firefighters and EMS workers for their care and support. His family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the University Hospital emergency and ICU for their care and support that went above and beyond. A special thanks to the Trillium Gift of Life Network for allowing Jim to give one last time to help save several lives.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820), on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment in Robins Hill Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
