Mrs. Quigley was my English teacher and told me if I did nothing else, I should write. It was her encouragement that nudged me to become a writer. She was a wonderful person. You have my condolences.

Linda Harris posted a condolence
I have many vivid memories of Marian. As a child, I remember our joint family Christmas dinners together. They were wonderful. Later we were able to bring our own families together at family reunions. Marian had a beautiful smile, confidence and a calm demeaner that was loved. Cousin Linda Harris

Eleanor Kittmer posted a condolence
Dear Quigley Family We are saddened to hear of Marian's passing. She was the best roommate our Aunt Doris could have had. She was a good friend, positive and uplifting when Doris needed reassurance. We were sorry when Doris had to move on and I was looking forward to visiting Marian. It was a privilege to have met her. Eleanor Kittmer, Doris Kenyon and family

Dear James and Peter, you probably don’t remember me. I’m writing a condolence for your dad, your mom, and brother. I knew, dated, and lived with your brother Steven, probably 40 years ago. I remember you guys but you were so young. Steve was the love that for me, forever left a mark on my heart. We were in love, for a moment in time. I saw his obit but couldn’t believe it was the same man I knew. The last time I saw him, probably early 90’s, I was married, he was too with two kids. Exactly where we were meant to be. When I saw your mom’s obit this morning, it brought back all these memories, and I knew that Steve’s obit, the one I doubted, was my friend. I was scared of your dad. He was so intelligent but always kind. Your mom, was so nice. She gave me many and Steve many flower bouquets from her garden to give to me. These were from her garden when you lived in Oakridge in London. I apologize for combining my condolences here. I guess in these times, we have more time to think and appreciate our past. Best wishes, Ruth Nelson-Wisotzki

Mike Leenders posted a condolence
Dear Quigley family, Although I have not met with you face to face, I have certainly heard about most of you. As organizer of the rubber bridge group to which Marian belonged for many years, I wish yo extend my condolences to you all. First in Byron and then in the Cherry Hill apartment, we played at her place every four weeks or so and she played at our homes the other times. She shared family stories while playing excellent bridge. She was always pleasant even near the end of her playings days. Marian would not complain about her various ailments and it was always a nice experience to be with her. Even though others have been recruited to take her bridge place, the game is no longer the same. Thank you for sharing her with us for all those years, Mike Leenders
