Dear James and Peter, you probably don’t remember me. I’m writing a condolence for your dad, your mom, and brother. I knew, dated, and lived with your brother Steven, probably 40 years ago. I remember you guys but you were so young. Steve was the love that for me, forever left a mark on my heart. We were in love, for a moment in time. I saw his obit but couldn’t believe it was the same man I knew. The last time I saw him, probably early 90’s, I was married, he was too with two kids. Exactly where we were meant to be. When I saw your mom’s obit this morning, it brought back all these memories, and I knew that Steve’s obit, the one I doubted, was my friend. I was scared of your dad. He was so intelligent but always kind. Your mom, was so nice. She gave me many and Steve many flower bouquets from her garden to give to me. These were from her garden when you lived in Oakridge in London. I apologize for combining my condolences here. I guess in these times, we have more time to think and appreciate our past.
