Obituary of William Richard Emm

William Richard Emm passed away peacefully at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital on August 5, 2017.Born on May 9, 1948, he was the son of Ivy (Wells) and William Emm of Stratford.Bill is survived by his first wife Mary Scott of Lindsay and his best friend, wife Erin of St. Marys. He is survived by five amazing children: Mindy (Chris) Piva of Orillia, Stephen (Amy) of Scarborough, Kody (Michelle) of Ottawa, Sarah (Nick) of St. Marys, and Holly at home. He also has three beautiful grandchildren, Brayden Piva, and Dillon and Adeline Emm, who will miss their Poppa. Bill is survived by his sisters Janet (Don) Doerr of Waterloo, Julie (Gary) of Amulree and sister-in-law Joanne of Stratford. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother John of Stratford.A celebration of Bill’s life will take place at The Queen's Inn, 161 Ontario St., Stratford, on Sunday, Sept 3, 2017 from 1 - 4 pm.In lieu of flowers, Bill’s family would greatly appreciate donations to the Stratford Municipal Golf Course – Jr. division golf program, through the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home
