Obituary of Isabella Beth Innes

Beth Innes (nee McEachern) passed away with family by her side in her 78th year at Willdwood Care Centre, St. Marys, on May 20, 2018.Predeceased by her husband Ronald Innes (1995), her mother and father, Bruce and Gladys (Zavitz) McEachern, and sister Mary Ellen Alexander (2009).Is lovingly remembered by her daughters and their families Rosemary Hyde (London), Judy Ann (Hyde) & Robert Kainz (Yellowknife), Sharon (Hyde) & Don Colbert (St. Marys). Grandmother to Deanna, Robbie, Laura, David, Krista and Tanya, and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren. Survived by one brother Archie McEachern & family.Beth was born in 1940 and grew up on the family farm at RR7 Alvinston, ON. In 1964, she became a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Her nursing career started at London Psychiatric Hospital, and she later transferred to St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital until her retirement. Even while living at Wildwood Care Centre, she liked to think she was helping the nurses out with their duties and she would keep them company at the nurse’s station. In her younger years, there was nothing that Beth couldn’t do! On her time off from nursing and raising three daughters, she helped out at Gord Hyde’s Auto Body and Towing doing anything that needed done in the family business, from sanding cars, to towing cars off the 401 during snow storms. Beth was a woman ahead of her time! Special thanks to the compassionate nurses and PSWs at Wildwood Care Centre.There will be an Interment service Friday May 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Perth County will be appreciated by the family.
