Obituary of Helen Josephine Tomkins

Helen Josephine Tomkins (McCauley), former long-time resident of Skunk’s Hallow in St. Marys, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on December 29, 2017 at the age of 89.Wife of the late Harold Tomkins (Oct. 18, 1992). Mother Doug and Flora, Terry, Wendy and Bob Hedberg, Steve and Niki, and Jeff. Grandmother Graham and Courtney, Heather, Ellen, Alexander, Michael, Mark, Ryan, Rene, Jordan, Adam, Krista, and Ashely. Survived by sister-in-law Val Mainland and several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by her siblings Fred McCauley, James McCauley, Jay McCauley, Allan McCauley, Verna Coddington, and Joan Ogden and in-laws Lloyd Tomkins, Howard Tomkins, Dorothy McKay.A graveside service will be held in St. Marys Cemetery on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Huron-Perth Alzheimer’s Society.
