Obituary of Leona Amos

Leona Amos passed away on June 6, 2019 at the age of 90. Formerly of Kirkton and of Kingsway Lodge, in St Marys, where she was cared for so well for over 11 years. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Norman S. Amos (2008), her son Bryan (1994), her parents Garfield and Mary Ann Latta and five siblings. Survived by daughter Cathy Taylor (Rob), son Rob Amos (Lindsay), daughter-in-law Lois Amos-Herter (Doug, deceased) and sister Monnie Herr. Loved by 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A Private Funeral Service will take place with interment in Mar’s Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Kingsway Life Care or Shriners Hospital for Children.
