Hugh McLeod Jeffrey passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on January 23, 2017 at the age of 84.Beloved husband, for 57 years, of Audrey (nee Beattie). Father of Christine Stuart (Stephen), Steven (deceased 2006), Chyleen (deceased 1983), Nelson (deceased 2009). Grandfather of Jasmine Stuart (Paul), and Braden Stuart (Ashley). Great-grandfather of Benjamin Stuart-Blouin. Brother of Elizabeth Montgomery (Gray), Bill Jeffrey (Lyda), Robert Jeffrey (Donna), and Keith Jeffrey (Ann). Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Alex Jeffrey (Wilma, Cathy, surviving), Ken Jeffrey (Rita), Evelyn Robinson (Orne), Isabel Tye (Max), Don, and Margaret.Hugh was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, he worked for Sun Life financial and was active with the St. Marys Friendship Centre.Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to the THORNDALE UNITED CHURCH on Saturday January 28, 2017 for visiting from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
