Obituary of Kim McArthur

Peacefully, with family by his side, Donald “Kim” McArthur passed away on September 10 at the age of 61. Loving husband of Carol (Hogg) McArthur and cherished father of Cory (Renee) & Mark (Erin). “Grandpa” to the “apples of his eye” – his 8 grandchildren – Magdalene, Chloe, Maryn, Henry, Ben, Jack, Everett & Annie. Kim also leaves behind his mom, Jane McArthur & his brother Shawn (Soheila) plus many loving sister & brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins & close friends. Predeceased by his father Donald Murray McArthur & his in-laws Lorne & Fern Hogg. Kim was a long time employee of Ellis Don Construction. Kim really enjoyed going to work & put all his heart & soul into doing a great job. His favourite times were those spent with his grandchildren. He loved camping, fishing & just spending time with his family & friends. Thank you to Dr. Gatfield & Dr. Hepburn for their care & compassion & also to the doctors who Kim met along his journey. Also, to the staff at St. Marys Memorial Hospital for their loving care. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021.
