Obituary of Donald Adams

Loving husband of Gail (Alberts) for 55 years.  Father to Beverley (Terry) Smith, Cathie (Brian) Szmon and Deanna (Andrew) Cunningham.  Proud grandfather to Nathan, Matthew, Sawyer, Sam, Jillian and Abby.

Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Florence Adams and granddaughter Josie Szmon.

Don was born and raised on Concession 9 of East Nissouri Township.  Don farmed for many years as well as worked off the farm at Standard Tube in Woodstock and Stackpole International in Stratford. Don was an active member of the East Nissouri Union Church, and he was an integral part of getting the East Nissouri History Books published.

Don moved off the family farm in 1994 however he was fortunate enough to go back and continue to spend time tinkering in the shed or walking through the bush.  Despite the challenges and struggles with dementia he found much happiness spending time with his grandchildren and listening to their recounts of the day.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family service will be held.
