Glenn Goldstraw

A celebration of life will be held in warmer weather

Obituary of Glenn Murray Goldstraw

We regret to announce the passing of Glenn Murray Goldstraw on Thursday the 24th of February at the Stratford General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Donna of 52 years, his daughter Meaghan (Phil), cousins Larry McPhail (Ferne), Margaret Bibby (Doug), brother-in-law Rick Post (Mary) and all their families.

Originally from Campbellville, Ontario, Glenn enjoyed many activities from tennis, curling and golf to planning community events such as the Campbellville Christmas Parade and Victoria Day Fireworks.

He carried many of these passions with him when the Goldstraws made their retirement move to St. Marys, Ontario. There, he will be missed by new friends made and old friends who thought St. Marys would be a great place to retire as well. He enjoyed many activities and clubs; curling, bridge and even motorcycling.

Glenn has donated his body for the education of our future health care professionals. A celebration of life will be held in warmer weather, with a wee dram and his favourite ham salad all around. Raise a glass, Slainte Mhath.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the
