The last time I visited Louise, she was like a Queen at Valley Vista. Her books and favourite Silver Screen movies were all around her, and she remarked how lovely the view was from the window. She was so happy with how Mark placed all her favourite items around the rooms. I saw her thriving and laughing the last time I saw her. May she Rest In Peace.
I'm sorry I couldn't be at the Ceremony.

Sweet, caring and a great sense of humor. These are just some of the words repeated over and over to describe this warm and loving woman. I did not get to know Mrs. Cucco very well but I do know that Chris and Johnny and the entire family have been inspired by her strength and her presence. We're honored and grateful for the time she gave us.
My deepest condolences,
Nigel Borel

Racing down the 401, flying in and out at 30-40kms over the limit, in a boat of a car, we would find clear stretches jumping up well over a speed that would get your car impounded today. A mother of four sat in the co pilot seat occasionally breaking from our chatter to egg me on faster. As I knew her, Mrs. Cucco loved to hear our gossip and dramas, she was trusting, like when you leave your door unlocked. But at 28 Blencathra Hill most of the time the door seemed open and the house welcoming. Just open the storm door, call and come on in and chat while waiting for her son to show. She was trusting or should I say… very trusting when racing down the 401 that day to London in “her” car having what seemed a grand time, John somewhere in tow.
Mrs Cucco, you gave a lot of reckless boys a relaxed place to hang out and be themselves even knowing when best to spend the night away while we filled the street and house with music and people. You shared your smiles “ooooh you boys”, more than a few side laughs while trying to stay angry at our mischief. Likely Mark, Chris and Diana had already worked her in for what was to come and she always gave in, with understanding and forgiveness.
When my family and I stopped in for one of our visits prior to the shut downs she still shared those laughs and some Italian sweets while we traded stories and the hope of getting out to some warmer weather. As a parent I more clearly see the influence even in small moments we have on our children. And for her and her wonderful family to let in the lonely kid from up the street loitering outside a party he wasn’t invited to, I am thankful!
I am certain in no small part the role she played, in me staying in your lives. Thank you Mrs. Cucco for everything you continue to give through those you touched.

Aunt Luisa was always a sweet and kind woman. When we visited her in 2017 she immediately recognized us, despite many years having passed. When you lose a mother, it is as if a part of each child is missing. Many condolences to my cousins Mark, Christopher,Diana and John. Lisa and Cynthia.

My deepest sympathies to Mark, Diana, Chris and John and to all of your families. Your mother was such a kind and loving lady. She was so welcoming and hospitable, and took teenagers popping in and out of her house in stride through the years. She will be missed and always remembered with love and fondness. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Louise always had food and drinks ready for us kids whenever we came over to the Cucco home. She kept an eye on us and gave good advice to make sure we weren't getting into too much mischief, which was a full time job back then!. She will be missed.
