Obituary of Ronald Thomas Bailey

Ronald "Ike" Bailey, of Woodstock and formerly of St. Marys, died peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in his 92nd year.

Born in St. Marys, son of the late William and Minnie (nee Crandon) Bailey. Beloved husband of Denise (nee Cole) Bailey. Ron was loved and will be missed by his children; Larry Bailey (Lorna), Bonnie Egan (Randy), Lori Hunter (James), Ronald Bailey (Cindy), step-children Judi Richardson (Dan) and Joni Winters (Frank) and by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his step-daughter Mary Patterson (1984) and his 11 siblings; Marion Ruthig (Fred), Beatrice Proudlove (William), Caroline Wood (Alvin), Evander Bailey (Edna), Audrey White (Joe), Elwood Bailey, Roderick Bailey (Kay), Norval Bailey (Irene), Raymond Bailey and Kenneth Bailey (Dorothy).

Visitation on Wednesday, June 15, from 7 – 9 pm at the Andrew. L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington Street South, St. Marys, (519.284.2820) where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16, at 2 pm with Rev. Jenny Sharp officiating. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
