My first memory of John was about seventy years ago when I was a very young boy and John worked alongside my Dad at the John Deere Dealership. And from that time forward both of our families have shared so many great memories. I particularly always remember John’s smile. Rest In Peace after a life well lived.

Marlene and Family :
My sincere sympathies and deepest condolences, in this difficult time of mourning, since the passing of John. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
The first time I met John was in the spring of 1963, when I got a job working for McLean Taylor which was McLean Foster at that time.
One day we moved some equipment to Coe Hill, which is a small village in Eastern Ontario, from St. Marys. John was driving a float truck, with an excavator, another float truck with a bulldozer and myself bringing up the rear, with a dump truck, loaded with lumber and plywood.
As a very young fellow at the time, I always looked to John as my mentor, for having the faith in me, to drive that dump truck so far. I didn't think we were ever going to get to our destination, but John knew exactly where he was heading.
My memories of John

Sorry to hear this news.
My mother once told me if there was anyone on the entire planet that loved to tinker with and
drive tractors, cars, trucks and motorcycles more than my old man that would be John McLean.
RIP and all the best to the extended McLean family and especially to my old friend Rob.
