Obituary of Verna Marie Daub

Verna Marie Daub (nee Dietrich) passed away peacefully at home in Thedford on September 19, 2022 at the age of 101.

Predeceased by her husband Donald. Beloved mother of Patrick Daub and wife Donna, Linda Allen and husband Donn Allen (deceased) and Corrine Quinlan and husband Everett Quinlan (deceased). She will be missed by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas Dietrich and Rose Clara (Steffler), Verna was the oldest of 10 children.  A CWL member for more than 60 years and a volunteer at Sudbury hospital, Verna will be remembered as a mother extraordinaire.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. AGATHA CATHOLIC CHURCH. 1839 Notre Dame Dr., St. Agatha, ON, on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Father Mariusz Durbajlo. The family asks that those in attendance to please wear a mask, social distance when able and dress casually.

Interment in St. Agatha Roman Catholic Cemetery will follow the church service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Agatha Catholic Church or to a charity of choice. In Verna’s memory, perform a random act of kindness for someone in your life.
