Dear Jeff and family, I was so sorry to read of Joy’s passing in the London Free Press this morning.
I was just thinking about her the other day and reminiscing of the time when we worked together at the Ministry of Community and Social Services office in the Special Services at Home Program. Joy was a kind, dedicated and compassionate individual who always provided exceptional support, respect and advocacy to the many families and children in our care.
She was my mentor early on in my career and one that shared her skills and guidance to me and others unconditionally.
May you find peace at this time of sorrow in the many memories that you share but also know that she made a difference to those who had the honour of working and learning from her.
