Obituary of Barbara Ann Rigney

We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Ann Rigney (Bradshaw), (nee McFalls) of St. Marys, Ontario.  Surrounded by her family, Barb died on December 15, 2022 in her 88^th year.

Barb leaves behind many wonderful memories to be cherished by her children Linda (late Dan) Dick, Mary Lou (John) McCarthy, Donna (Steve) McRae, Sandy (Rick) Fifield, Janice Bradshaw (Scott Ball), and step-children Ginny (Brian) VanWensem, Rhonda Rigney and Collette Rigney.  Barb is also survived by several grandchildren, including step grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Margaret (late Arnold) Rae, sister–in-laws Marnie (late Lloyd) Bradshaw, Donna (late Lewis) Bradshaw, Margaret (Peggy) (late John) Carter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb was predeceased by husbands James Allan Bradshaw (1979) and Donald Edward Rigney (2017), parents Gordon and Viva McFalls, sisters Jeanne McFalls, Doris (Howard) Keys, Lenore (Michael) Moir, Helen (Roy) Cadick, and sister-in-law Irene (Llyod) Bradshaw.

Barb was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Perth Regiment Veterans Branch 236 St. Marys and St. Marys Presbyterian Church.  A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed crosswords, games, reading and was always up for a game of cards. A talented baker, her Christmas squares and pies will be missed.  Barb was a devoted fan of the Blue Jays and Raptors.  She took pleasure in watching and hearing about the accomplishments of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

An Open House Celebration of Life at the ST. MARYS LEGION, 66 Church St. N. St. Marys, on May 5, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm with Words of Remembrance at 5:30 pm.
