I was saddened to learn today of Vicky's passing. I taught with her 50 years ago in Petawawa. I always enjoyed spending time with her, and her lovely sense of humour
. My condolences to her children and grandchildren.

It was a delight to teach with Vicki (Victoria will do!). She was always full of surprises and truly enjoyed teaching! Any child who passed through her classroom came out enriched.

Aunt Vicki was so happy when my baby Hudson came along! It was so nice to have her support and enthusiasm during that time even if we couldn’t see her in person.
I have so many fond memories of her visiting us in Oshawa and Grandma and Grandpa in Whitby and will miss her dearly.
I was also amazed at her resilience and positivity in the face of all of her health struggles over the past few years. She was amazingly strong.
My thoughts are with you Quinn and Will.
lots of love Hannah (and Nick and Hudson)

Vicki, will always be to me, my kind and wonderful Aunt. I have so many happy memories, from her taking me to watch a George Clooney film - which we both enjoyed!- to having a beach day at lake eerie , to wondering at the night sky and all the stars. Our last visit in 2019, she opened up her house to both myself and Steve and was so much fun. Breakfast out together was a highlight of the trip, plus her home cooking. Aunt Vicki, I shall forever miss you and hold you in my heart. Love to all the family xxx

Sending my condolences. Speaking with Vicky was always a pleasure. My children never had her as a teacher, but she had asked me to decorate her class room door one fall, and a friendship was built. Will miss seeing, and spending time picking out the flowers for her pots.

I only just heard today and am so saddened to hear of Victoria’s passing. I was privileged to work alongside this great lady at St. Marys Central for several years. Her quick wit, extensive vocabulary and sharp sense of humor made for many lively conversations. She had a tender heart with struggling students and was always a ‘sensible’ teacher. In retirement I met her a few times in Stratford as I share her love of theatre. I regret that I lost touch with this smart and passionate lady in recent years and will treasure her memory. My deepest condolences to her sons and their families.

So sad to hear of Vicki's passing. She was such a lovely lady and so much fun. When Linda and I travelled from Calgary to Ontario on a Family History road trip Vicki was the best hostess and we had such a great time. Then met up with Vicki again when she came to Northern Alberta for a family reunion. Linda and Vicki came down to Calgary and we once again had a great time catching up and visiting some of Southern Alberta. My hugs and loving thoughts go out to the Family.

Vicki and I shared many interests, from theatre to art to education to gardens. She amazed me by the number of books she could read in short order and my vocabulary grew as a result of our many conversations.
Vicki remained a “trooper” throughout her health challenges. Having known Vicky for over thirty years, she was a dear friend and I will most certainly miss her. Ron and I extend sincerest condolences to Will, Quinn, Susan, Jan and their families.

Condolences to Vicki's sisters and her offspring and her grandchildren - and her many friends.
Gardening and reading were passions I shared with Vicki and she was stimulating in both those areas. She cared for her garden and each plant in it and was happy to share her knowledge and skill; always a privilege to get a a garden tour. Her voracious reading was legendary but unlike many who read quickly, she also read thoughtfully and her presence made for a lively discussion at book club meetings.
She will be much missed.

Vicki was a force to be reckoned with and I think we all assumed she would weather this current serious health issue with aplomb and bounce back as she's done many times over the past few years. She so appreciated the support from her family doctor, friends and neighbours who stepped in to help and her two sisters who travelled to stay with her. I'll miss our discussions of favourite books and foods, but these past few years must have been tough for her, RIP Vicki.

I am so sorry to her of Victoria's passing. She was my son's Special Education teacher at Central School when he was in kindergarden. She always remembered and asked after him. My deepest sympathies to her family

Susan, Janice, Quinn and Will, my heart goes out to you all. I loved Vicky and will miss her very much. What I know for sure is that Rick and Cash were waiting at the gates to welcome her. Rick with a red rose and a mint smoothie and Cash with so many kisses. She fought her health battles like no other, never complained and just "kept calm and carried on". I learned a lot from this amazing lady. Rest in Peace my friend. All my love to you!
