Obituary of Sharon Margaret Podsadecki

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Margaret Podsadecki at home on December 27th, 2022 at the age of 78. Sharon was born in St. Marys on June 6, 1944 where she lived out her life.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Ted Podsadecki of 53 years. Cherished mother to Paul Podsadecki (Michelle) and Jeff Podsadecki (Faye). Adoring Nana to Avery and Grandmother to fur babies Sterling, Sunny, Marco & Polo. Dear sister-in-law to Floyd Stacey, Stanley Podsadecki, Carol Podsadecki and Helen Lee. Sharon will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Florence & Jack Drinkwalter, sisters Barb Woosnam & Donna Stacey and sisters-in-laws Aldona & Diana Podsadecki.

Sharon was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nana, Cousin, and Friend. She loved spending time chatting and reminiscing with those near & dear to her. Never said no to sleepovers with Avery that always made her light up with a huge smile. She was passionately involved with anything to do with her sons, especially loved keeping score at countless ball games. An avid Toronto sports fan, she rarely missed watching a Leafs or Jays game with Ted by her side!

Cremation to take place with a private family internment at the St. Marys Cemetery. A celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation in her memory.

No longer by our side, but forever in our hearts.
